In 2010, REMAFEDE trained 140 women municipal councilors in Kayes, Nioro, Kita, Mopti, Badiangara, Djenné and Bamako on the roles and responsibilities of councilors, the development of the municipal budget, gender-sensitive budgeting and the development of the Social, Economic and Cultural Development Program (PDSEC).
