Madame Son Excellence Madame (SEM) Fatima Braoulé Méïté

SEM Fatima Braoulé Méïté is currently Ambassador of Mali to Canada in addition to her role as Representative
Permanent Representative of Mali to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
She was municipal councilor in commune II of the district of Bamako, President
of the Network of Elected and Political Women for Democracy
Participatory (REMAFEDE) from 2009 to 2016. She was also an Advisor
Technical at the Presidency of the Republic of Mali, in charge of mission at the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
She is a graduate of the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) as well as
Stony Brook University in New York. She holds a master’s degree in
business administration as well as a specialization in sociology.
She worked in Public Health, her expertise was to ensure the continuity of
Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health Services (SMNIA) and
the protection of OVC.
She was a consultant for the United Nations, the European Union and the
Luxembourg cooperation.
